Developed in cooperation with Lubrizol, varioShore TPU Prosthetic is an ideal material for printing prosthetic and orthopedic parts.

 

 

The VarioShore TPU prosthesis has some main distinguishing features: its variable shore hardness, low weight and density, and soft touch. varioShore TPU Prosthetic allows users to vary the density of the material by adjusting the temperature and throughput of the material (speed and layer height). At temperatures between 200 and 250°C, materials will begin to expand to approximately 1.4 to 1.6 times their original volume, reducing density by 0.5 to 0.6 g/cm³. This means that the material can be printed at low flow rates (60-70%) to compensate for active foaming, which in turn results in very smooth printed parts.

 

 

Please note that the color may change, depending on the amount of foam. The color will become lighter when the material is in the maximum foam state compared to the non-foam state which shows a deeper and richer color.
